The journal ensures that all academic articles published are original, unpublished, and have not been previously disseminated, either in whole or in part, in any other format. Furthermore, it guarantees that the works are not being evaluated or considered by any other journal or publication.
To ensure compliance with these policies, the journal employs similarity verification tools such as Crossref (iThenticate), Turnitin, and Plag.es. Other platforms, such as DupliChecker, Plagium, or Copyscape, may also be used when deemed necessary.
The plagiarism control process is carried out before the peer review. If the similarity report exceeds 20%, the authors will be notified by email, along with the complete report and the expert analysis. This procedure aims to allow the authors to provide feedback and clarifications, which will help the journal determine whether the case constitutes a plagiarism violation. In such cases, the article will be rejected for evaluation.
Additionally, the editors may offer authors access to online programs to verify the similarity of their works before submission.
